Gift of the Givers - Tracksuit Making Course

The recent sewing training at BERNINA RSA was an exhilarating experience for a diverse group of ten trainees, hailing from various regions both locally and internationally. This marked the third course held at BERNINA, and the remarkable progress made by participants in extending their sewing skills was nothing short of inspiring.

Most of the trainees were beginners, with little to no prior experience in using a sewing machine. However, their infectious enthusiasm and spirited competitiveness illuminated the atmosphere, especially as they set their sights on creating the best-sewn tracksuit. The camaraderie among the group was palpable, filled with delightful moments—particularly when Malvern, the sole male trainee, faced the challenge of unpicking stitches. His unwavering dedication to achieving perfection made him an endearing target for light-hearted teasing.

Teaching this dynamic group was a genuine pleasure, and witnessing their transformation from novices to confident creators was immensely rewarding. Their remarkable growth in both skill and self-assurance was truly a testament to their potential!
