BERNINA DRESS YOUR STYLE FASHION DESIGN STUDENT COMPETITION 2023

We have come to the end of the BERNINA Dress Your Style 2023 competition.

We have received 95 entries from a total of 8 Tertiary Institutions. We are happy to say that there was a good mixture of 1st to 3rd year entries, with the majority being final year student entries.

The well know Fashion Designer Gert-Johan Coetzee, did the judging and he was particularly impressed with how the students interpret the theme of the competition.

Congratulations to the winners of the 1^st to 3^rd year category:

The winner is Meandri Britz who won a BERNINA 435 to the value of R44 769-00

Janice Joubert was awarded the 1st Runner up and won a BERNINA 335 to the value of R34 429-00

The 2nd Runner Up is Carien Nieuwoudt who won a BERNINA 325 to the value of R27 829-00

Category - Final Year Students

The 5 final year students that qualified for the Final Sew Off that will take place at BERNINA RSA in Johannesburg, will complete their final competition articles from the 2 to 5 October 2023 and we wish them well!
