Quilting Tales - Jean Corbridge
Welcome to Quilting Tales brought to you by Bernina UK.
Welcome to the latest video in our recent series of Quilting Tales. Explore the story behind Jean Corbridge’s quilt, "The Bluebird". This quilt was inspired by a female choir beautifully singing Mary Elizabeth Coleridge’s poem "The Bluebird" on the BBC’s Last Night of the Proms. Jean was so moved that she envisaged this quilt whilst watching the performance and then went on to create it. Techniques carried out in the making of it include "Heat ‘n Seal" and we think it works fabulously. We hope you enjoy her tale...
