BERNINA DEALER TWIN FALLS SEWING CENTER TO HOST SEWAPALOOZA SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 27 AND OCTOBER 11 IN TWIN FALLS IDAHO

BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that Twin Falls Sewing Center, a BERNINA Dealer in Twin Falls, Idaho, is hosting Sewapalooza, a hands-on sewing, embroidery, and quilting workshop on Saturday, September 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 157 Main Avenue, West in Twin Falls. BERNINA Educator Lorraine Wilkins will lead event-goers through a number of projects including a quilted mini travel pillow, a monogrammed suit case sachet using BERNINA’s Embroidery Software 7, and a travel cord caddy. The event costs $35 and includes lunch, projects kits, a goodie bag, and use of BERNINA machines. The same event will take place again on Saturday, October 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and feature Glenda Barlow. To register for either event call (208)733-3344 or stop by the store. BERNINA Educator Lorraine Wilkins, from Bend, Oregon, whose grandmother was a seamstress and grandfather a tailor, began sewing when she was 10 years-old. She has sewn off and on while working for telecommunications company and raising her family. After taking her first quilt class at a local BERNINA dealership, and having fallen in love with BERNINA, she secured a part-time position with BERNINA where she sells and educates consumers and artisans.
