BERNINA DEALER SEWING CENTER ETC. TO HOST SEWAPALOOZA FEATURING LYN LACKEY JUNE 12 – 13 IN CONWAY ARKANSAS

BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that Sewing Center, Etc., a BERNINA Dealer in Conway, Ark., is hosting Sewapalooza, a two-day hands-on sewing, embroidery, and quilting workshop featuring BERNINA Educator Lyn Lackey on Thursday, June 12 and Friday, June 13 from 8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The event will take place at the Dealer, 803 Harkrider, Suite 6.  The cost is $99 and includes both days, a festival t-shirt and bumper sticker, project supplies, BERNINA needles, a micro-vacuum attachment kit, machine oil, maintenance tips, a CD with embroidery designs, and lunch.  Attendees of all skill levels will have the opportunity to make up to three different projects during the two days.  To register, call (501)205-1975 or stop by the store. 
 
BERNINA Educator Lyn Lackey has been sewing and teaching most of her life.  She started as a Home Economics teacher and later taught at a BERNINA Dealer.  In 1986 she fell in love with BERNINA after she purchased her BERNINA 930 and shortly after that became a BERNINA Educator.  Lyn was also a District Manager for BERNINA of America from 1999 to 2013.  She enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for the creative process and BERNINA products with new and experienced students.  While Modern Quilting is her latest addiction, she enjoys every segment of sewing and teaching.  Lyn is from Cary, N.C.
