BERNINA Accessory Organizer - The digital accessory box

Almost as exciting as sewing itself, is setting up and organizing your own sewing studio. In the accessories section of the BERNINA app, you can learn more about BERNINA presser feet and accessories on the one hand. On the other hand, you also always keep track of which accessories you already own and which ones you want. A digital storage box for your accessories, so to speak! Below you will find a quick guide to the functionality.

Before you start your discovery tour...

... you will be invited to create your BERNINA account or log in with your existing account. If you have already created an account in the BERNINA Customer Portal, you can also use this login for the app. You cannot use the app without an Internet connection.

A login is required as no data is stored on your phone or device. All information you enter while using the app is securely stored in a Microsoft cloud service. Thus, no data will be lost, even if you change your phone. Moreover, this lets you access your lists from any device (iPhones and iPads, for example).

You can log in via the home screen or in the "Accessories" area. If you are not logged in, you will be guided through the login process in the app. If you have not yet created an account, you can do so directly in the app. You can also do this using a Google or Facebook account.

If you use your email address to register, then a code will be sent to your email address. We recommend using an email address that you can access directly from your phone. Just copy the code and follow the instructions in the app.

After you have successfully logged in, we recommend that you register your machine(s). If you have already registered a BERNINA in the Customer Portal, it will be displayed directly. 

To add new machines, simply click on the checkbox on the right side of each machine in the list. If you now call up this area again, the selected models will be set at the top of the page.

The accessory search is easy to understand and clearly arranged. Click on the heart symbol to add the accessory to your wishlist. Touching the accessory image opens a page with more information (e.g. video and user manuals) about the accessory. You can also find your nearest dealer with one click.

Keep track of the accessories you already have. Easily add new accessories to this list by clicking the checkmark icon on the overview or on the list of compatible accessories. All accessories are displayed on the screen and can be searched.

Wishlist

The accessories organizer would be nothing without the much-loved wishlist. Click on the heart icon to add the accessory to your wishlist. Works both in the accessory search and the compatible accessories list.

Once you have selected which machines you own you can tap the "Compatible" tab at the top under "Discover".

All accessories that are compatible with one or more of your recorded BERNINA machines will be displayed in this list. The compatibility for each selected machine is displayed under the name of the accessory.
