Home-made New Year's Eve stick prop and Happy New Year hairband

6327 Mask

Materials

  • Faux-leather remnant

  • 249 crystals, size SS12 (3–3.2mm)

Instructions
Reinforce faux-leather remnant with Decovil. Place wrong-sides-together with a second layer of faux leather on hooped embroidery stabiliser. Embroider, and cut out with the CutWork Tool. Work the crystal file; after completing the template, iron crystals onto mask. Insert wooden stick into hole of both mask layers.

  • Black felt, min. 3mm thick
  • Embroidery stabiliser
  • 1 wooden stick, diameter 0.7cm
  • Hot-glue gun
  • Free CutWork file under ‘Inspiration 63’
  • BERNINA embroidery machine

Instructions
Hoop embroidery stabiliser and place felt on top. Cut out moustache with CutWork tool. Attach wooden stick to back with hot-glue gun.

  • 77 crystals, size SS16 (3.8–4mm)
  • Narrow hairband
  • Adhesive
  • Template material and iron-on film

Instructions
Reinforce faux-leather remnant with Decovil. Place wrong-sides-together with a second layer of faux leather on hooped embroidery stabiliser. Work CutWork file. Glue lettering together with adhesive. Work CrystalWork file; after completing the template, iron on the crystals. Spray adhesive between the layers and glue in the hairband.
